Wipes

Tucker has developed an infatuation that is similar to one Lucas had at his age. He LOVES wipes! Every time he gets a diaper change he says, "I need a wipe." Why does he need a wipe? After receiving his wipe he wipes his hands, face, and every toy he can get ahold of. When Luke was his age he LOVED cleaning all his toys with wipes! Tucker's new addiction to wipes reminded me of something Luke did that I would love to share. Right after Tucker was born Luke was going thru his "wipie" stage. (We went thru a lot of wipes during this time) I laid Tucker down and went into the kitchen to get a diaper, the wipes were on the couch and Luke was next to Tuck on the floor. I changed Tucker's diaper and gave the old diaper to Luke and asked him to please put the diaper in the garbage. He was a great helper and agreed to do that for me. When Luke walked back into the living room he had his wipe and he proceeded to wipe my arm, Tuck's face and clean his own face. I thought nothing of it because he was sitting right next to the wipe box when I walked into the kitchen. I picked Tucker up and walked into the kitchen for whatever reason and noticed that the diaper I gave Luke to throw out had been opened and the wipe was missing from it! I have to admit, while I was a little grossed out at the idea of being wiped with a "used" wipie I did find it a bit funny. I did however learn my lesson the first time around. I do NOT ask Tucker to throw away diapers.
